Responding to immediate needs to bring stability and a sense of normalcy is crucial during the first two weeks of a disastrous or emergency event. Identifying needs and coordinating resource distribution at the micro-level is essential in alleviating suffering, mitigating loss, and in some cases, saving lives. 

 

I Care Alabama’s (ICA) disaster response and relief effort is part of a national response network comprised of various Christian organizations. This is a multi-state network that currently consists of response groups from Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Florida, and Alabama. Our network is ready and equipped to act promptly in providing relief, which includes food and resources, for Alabamians during disasters.
